Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Braw & Tasty website and the meal bundle delivery service we provide. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before ordering.

1.Who We Are

Braw & Tasty is a family-run meal preparation business based in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. We prepare and deliver ready-to-heat meal bundles to customers in the Kirkcaldy area on a weekly basis.

2.Ordering

We operate on a weekly ordering cycle, not an on-demand service.

• Orders can be placed any time before the weekly cut-off
• The cut-off is Sunday at 2:00pm for delivery the following Monday
• Orders placed after the cut-off will be scheduled for the following week's delivery
• The exact delivery date is shown to you before you complete payment

Once your order is placed and payment is complete, we begin preparing ingredients. After the cut-off has passed, orders cannot be modified or cancelled.

3.Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown in GBP and include any applicable taxes.

• Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering
• We use Stripe as our payment provider — your card details are never stored on our servers
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but any changes will not affect orders already placed

4.Delivery

We currently deliver to addresses within Kirkcaldy and the immediately surrounding area.

• Deliveries are made on Monday of each week
• You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address when ordering
• If we cannot deliver due to an incomplete or incorrect address, we will attempt to contact you but cannot guarantee a redelivery that week
• If nobody is available to receive the delivery, we will leave the parcel in a safe place if one has been agreed, or return it to our kitchen

5.Cancellations and Refunds

Because we buy and prepare ingredients specifically for your order, cancellation terms are as follows:

• Before the Sunday 2pm cut-off: you can cancel or amend your order for a full refund
• After the cut-off: we've already bought your ingredients, so we cannot offer refunds or changes
• Quality issues: if there's something wrong with your order, contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we'll work with you to make it right

Refunds are processed through Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.

6.Allergens and Dietary Information

Our meals are prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, gluten, fish, shellfish, eggs, soy and sesame. While we take care to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any meal is completely free of any allergen.

7.Food Storage and Safety

All meals arrive chilled and should be refrigerated on delivery. Meals should be consumed within the timeframes stated on each label. Once reheated, food should not be reheated a second time.

We cannot accept liability for food that has been stored incorrectly or consumed beyond its recommended consumption window.

8.Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account password secure. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. We reserve the right to suspend or close any account that breaches these Terms.

9.Limitation of Liability

We provide our service with reasonable care and skill, but we are not liable for:

• Delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (weather, road closures, etc.)
• Losses arising from incorrect details you provide at checkout
• Indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

10.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be handled by the Scottish courts.
